The Honda Civic is one of the most iconic vehicles in the automotive industry, with tens of millions sold since its inception back in the early 1970s. The combination of reliability, good fuel economy, reasonable price and good style have made this car very popular.
Sparco wheels have been a big hit with Tire Rack in tuner-style fitments, and for 2016, we have a new style to make any Civic stand out! There are two different versions of the new Sparco Trofeo: the Trofeo 4 and the Trofeo 5. Which one is right for you? It depends on the bolt pattern. Older Civics like my EP3 with four-lug wheels would get the Trofeo 4, while the newer, five-lug Civics would install the Trofeo 5.
The different styles do a great job at handling the differences in bolt patterns within the same wheel. Many times when manufacturers make a wheel to fit a Civic, they will have the same design whether it's a four-lug or a five-lug wheel. The placement of the lug holes can sometimes look haphazard or like the bolt pattern was an afterthought. That is not the case with the new Sparco Trofeo! The spoke design allows the lug holes to be drilled near the vertex of the parabolic design in each pair of spokes.
The Trofeo is available in the following finishes: black, bronze, gold, light grey and red. The Trofeo 4 comes in 15, 16 and 17 inch diameters, while the Trofeo 5 is available in 17 and 18 inch diameters.
