Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus
Initial Review: 4,000 miles on tires
February 20, 2018

Let me start by saying I have almost 2M miles to my credit behind the wheel and I have never had anything close to what has happened the last month. This was my first and probably only set I'll buy . I needed to replace 3 tires since they were purchased 3 months ago. Great handling, braking and traction both wet, dry and snow however the sidewalls must be considerably softer than other brands I have owned or I've had considerably bad luck. FR blowout sidewall at 25mph with pothole in mid Jan. FR blew out again different pothole at 45-50mph 3 weeks later. And by blowout I mean it cracked the sidewall and the tire was flat within 1 mile. 1 week after that I noticed large bulge near bead on FL which I have just replaced today. IF you live in an area with milder weather (or better roads) these would probably be great but for northern urban/suburban areas with potholes common I would NOT recommend. And yes they were properly inflated and checked on numerous occasions because we have had great temperature fluctuations here this winter. I previously had Conti Pro-contact from dealer w new car, hit many a pothole without a hiccup but tread didn't last long at 25k it wasn't down to the bar but don't like heading into winter with low treads.
