My winter tires, I have them in 16 inch, on steel wheels. I swap them on last week in October, and off last week in April. To be fair, these are mounted on a 2016 Subaru that doesn't let the vehicle get stupid on wet, snow, icy, gravel or otherwise loose surfaces, so I can compare the handling only to the OEM Yokohama Geolanders that are excellent on the car as well. The first winter on the Geolanders, and the second winter on the Michelins, and never a concern. Great ride, quiet, responsive (wife yelling SLOW DOWN!) at highway speeds. I've owned many Michelins going back to the mid 1980's on a VW Golf, through the OEM on my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and these Xice tires live up to my expectations!
