Michelin X-Ice Xi2
Initial Review: 30,000 miles on tires
March 23, 2014

I drive 60-100 miles daily on 2-lane 55mph country roads in Michigan. Having a small hybrid is a challenge in the winter. This is the 2nd winter I have used these tires, and I think that I will use these in the spring this year and ride them until they wear out and then replace them in the late fall with some new snows. I like them enough to replace with the same model from michelin. These performed great in deep snow, this winter has been the snowiest since the 1950's here in michigan and if the frame wasnt dragging, then I would drive to work. Noise is alittle louder than I thought, but they handle well with/without snow, much better on dry pavement than the OEM tires. Wear is fine, just that they loose their winter grip while still having plenty of tread remaining. That is why I will use these as my nice weather tire at the end of their life.
