Purchased new in 2010 to replace the original Goodyears which had 28k of treadwear and lost there grip when raining. Have 20k on these Michelins and there is very little signs of treadwear, its there but they still look new. Wet and dry traction they have great gripping power. I have never hydroplained driving in a very heavy downpoor, I only slow down because I need to see the road, if the wipers could get the water off faster I would not need to slow down, for safty reasons you always slow down for the heavy rain, but the grip of these tires makes you feel in control. Noise level was greatly reduced compaired to the Goodyears. On concreate roads here in FL they are noise, but when you hit an asphalt roadway there is very little noise. I highly reccommend these tires.
