Just bought these recently, wanted to get a preliminary review written to help anyone looking to buy these, I know there aren't many reviews yet. I have driven them in the dry and up to 5cm of snow or so. In the dry, they are fantastic for winter tires. They don't feel spongy like some winter tires, the cornerning stability is great, and they are very quiet and comfortable.

In light snow, these are fantastic. From the line, they grip extremely well (better than General Altimax Arctic - which is my only winter tire reference point). Braking grip is amazing, I was really surprised how much the car grips under braking. Cornerning grip is also impressive, I tried some evasive maneuvers on some back country roads and they grip great while turning.

Haven't had much deep snow yet, but coming across the thicker snow between lanes, the car seems to float a bit, but that's not exactly a fair test. Will update as soon as we get another dump of snow.

Ice traction isn't fantastic, but also hard to compare as most tires are useless on ice. Also, the ice we've had has been really bad.

So far I am really happy with this purchase, fantastic in the dry (for a winter tire) and great grip in light snow. I was going to say this tire is a great compromise between dry traction and snow, but really, it is fantastic in both, so it's not really a compromise. These are awesome!
