Initial Review: 20,000 miles on tires

I put a lot of miles on my car in the Winter. Around town and on relatively dry highways, these are excellent tires. Great steering response, very communicative in turns, excellent dry grip , great in the rain, very good at low temps. The car is fun and i do not worry about going 90+ MPH if I can get away with it. I switched briefly to a set of Nokian winter tires and had to take them off after a week because the car did not feel safe on the highway. Could not predict how it would respond in an emergency. Went back to my old Michelins and the car was instantly stable again. These tires do not excel in deep snow. On a RWD wagon, I have a hard time in ski country getting up hills, but once underway, they are VG on the highway assuming it is somewhat cleared. A great real world tire where you want to drive normally on dry but cold winter days. They re also very quiet and smooth. I might opt for another tire next time because I see so much deep snow in the winter on weekends. They are about the funnest snow tire I have experienced in that your car drives like it is on summer tires.
