Initial Review: 4,000 miles on tires
July 23, 2012

I drive for a living. So I know what a good tire feels like.
I have this tire on my Town and Country van. I have been very impressed with them so far. They just started making this tire the first part of 2012, so there is not a lot of reviews on them yet.
Treadwear 820 traction A temperature B 90,000 mile tire. They offer a very smooth and comfortable ride. They can be a little noisy at highway speeds on certain kinds of roads. Some surfaces were quiter than others. Asphalt offered the quitest ride. Still not a game changer for me.
The steering is very tight and responsive. I turn the wheel much less to achieve response from the van. The van moves where I want it to go and now. I noticed the van felt like it was leaning a bit on curves and lane changes- but hey, its a minivan, not a sportscar.
I did drive it through some rain on a very windy and mountainous part of highway. They performed great.
They also performed well with the van loaded down for a long road trip. We averaged about 4-6 mpg more than usual on the highway.
I have not driven them on ice or snow yet, but after driving on them so sar, I am confident they will perform well then too.
It was worth the extra expense for me. The family's safety/great traction was why I chose these tires.
