Michelin Defender
Initial Review: 500 miles on tires
May 28, 2012

This a new tire by Michelin that replaces the wonderful Harmony tire which my wife's car has had the joy of experiencing for
the past 4 years. She has traveled on the Harmony tire for 40,000 and the tires show no wear. The Defender tire is made of
the same materials as shown on the Harmony tire and is rated 820 for wear, and may provide 90,000 miles as the warranty indicates. The Defender tire appears to be more energy efficient related to gas use due to a better tread design. I would give these tires a 10 rating but we have only had them for 500 miles of enjoyable usage. Will rate again when we have more miles.
