Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105
Initial Review: 1,200 miles on tires
July 11, 2012

I purchased these tires after I noticed some wear issues in my last set of (remain nameless) tires. I am an EXTREMELY SPIRITED driver and I use the manual shifting on my Maxima as often as possible and I must say, since I purchased these tires, I have been EXTREMELY impressed with the responsiveness and stability of these tires considering I have custom 22 rims on my car. I get better handling, less road noise and nice cornering at high speeds. They feel slightly slushy on some sharp corners but that can be expected considering they are low profile on BIG rims. I am shocked at the rating they received from tirerack and almost didn't purchase them but the tire shop was out of the Continental DWS tires in my size and for the price Hankook was a good choice. After another 8,000 miles, I will give my review again but so far, considering the name brand I moved from, I am impressed.
