Absolutely the best street tire you can buy for racing.

I rated this tire very highly because it's the superior tire in the class. They're loud, wear quickly and offer only fair traction in rain, compared to similarly-priced all seasons. However, they're also in the extreme tire class, so that's to be expected. Better in almost every way than the more expensive Star Specs.

I race an evo at the limit of STU class so I'm limited to 245 width, but that's plenty. The grip is phenomenal for a street tire. They're predictable once they do begin to break free and respond awesomely, without protest, to quick steering inputs. I've raced these tire twice in the rain, with standing water on the track, and was very impressed by the available wet traction both times. Usually, the top 5 cars in class will be on r-s3's.

I drive on mine daily, but have a 4-mile commute. Expect to get less than 8k street-driving miles out of them, substantially less if racing too.

I have no hesitation whatsoever in buying another set.
