Initial Review: 60,000 miles on tires
December 21, 2012

These tires replaced the stock tires (also Eagle LS2's) at about 55k miles on my wife's B9 Tribeca. Now we're at about 115k miles on the car, so about 60k on the tires. The tires still have about 3/32 or 4/32 left on them and I anticipate making it to about 65 or 70k on these tires. I don't get all the negative reviews of these tires--it's as if we've gotten tires from different production runs than others who hate these tires. They've been adequate in all situations except snow and ice. They are terrifying to drive in even light snow and I would never put these through a harsh winter (not an issue here in SC). They ride quietly and comfortably, they handle well enough for an SUV, they're adequate in the wet and dry, and they seem to be wearing remarkably well and evenly. They seem to be nail magnets, probably due to the 255 section width and perhaps the rubber compound. All in all, we've been satisfied and may purchase again.
