General Grabber AT 2
Initial Review: 20,000 miles on tires
July 21, 2012

I checked out reviews of the Grabber AT2s on this site back in 2008 and bought a set for my Series II Discovery. They have been an exceptionally good tyre for what I need. I bought the tyres for off road touring in outback Australia. In the outback the roads are the worst - some of the harshest conditions on the planet. These tyres were subjected to thousands of miles (kilometers) of gravel roads made out of sharp rocks. Go to youtube and look up Cape York and Simpsons Desert to get an idea (I've done both on this set of tyres). I haev not had one puncture and the tyres still have about 65% tread. They have some chips out of the tread, but are in very good condition. I would highly recommend these tyres if you plan to do long haul gravel roads. By the way, my Disco is a TD5 but it wasn't available in the options.
