General G-MAX AS-03
Initial Review: 6,500 miles on tires

After only getting 20k on the Yoko's that came with the car, I did a lot of research. I wanted better treadware, lower road noise, good wet weather traction, and decent performance. For my money, the General G-Max AS-03 has either met or exceeded my expectations. I've been on them for about 7 months. Substantial decrease in highway road noise, superb wet-traction (i.e. 70mph on saturated pavement? no problem), as well as good cornering traction. It's too soon critique treadware. I've had them rotated once and so far so good. Here's to hoping they last for more than two years.
I highly recommend the G-Max to those looking for a practical, somewhat affordably priced all-season UHP tire.
