I was so sad that these weren't offered in 255/45 R19 for my new car. I was after Conti Extreme Contact but my local garage didnt have them and tirerack was out of stock. Instead, the garage gave me these and these tires were like glue to the road. I am the guy that flies by you in the worst of weather. I had these on a 2009 Sonata. I drove at what speed I wanted regardless of the conditions. Usually on the highway, the right lane was (moving slow) clear and the left lane was still snow covered. I would move the left lane to pass everyone and my tires rode with confidence. My ABS and ESP rarely had to engage unless I was taking off from a dead stop or trying to slide through a turn intentionally.. which was actually difficult to do with these tires. In deep snow I had to slow up a bit as well as heavy slush in between lanes. I would not go head first through slush; my lane changes were very gradual. However these tires handled very predictably and again I am so sad that I cannot purchase them for my 2013 Taurus. If I were you, I would seriously consider a set of these.
