Bought brand new from Tire Rack. Had them within 3 day in Toronto.

1st real snow fall December 14, 2013

I drive a well modified sport compact fwd.

Snow traction is good. Snow/Ice is not good. Very skatey. Scared me a few times but it is ice.

I gave the snow traction an eight. I go from a heated garage out in the elements and the grip can be twitchy till the tires get cold? It feels like that anyway. At highway speeds it handles well on the snow but I wasn't impressed. I was doing approx. 70km/hr and had to lift off the gas to get the car going strait again. At 50km/hr it was fine. I think my tires being a half inch from the splash liners have something to do with it. Maybe not.

Ice traction deserves a five or less. There were a few ice spots on the Don Valley Parkway near Don Mill South exit which scared me. Cars were spinning out and I immediately pumped the brake hard and let the ABS do it's thing. Not impressed at all.

I've had Michelin Alpines before which I liked and Blizzacks which I really liked. I would try those again and not these.
