Initial Review: 20,000 miles on tires

I have to say these tires are incredible. I'm on my fourth winter with them; the control and stability in light, moderate and deep snow is great, with exceptional breaking, acceleration, cornering. People that get in my SUV to go skiing cannnot believe what this vehicle with these tires can do. For example I have a house near Woodstock VT with a driveway that is 1/2 mile and my plow guy doesn't always plow - he knows he can plow me last - well last winter, we had 17 of snow unplowed and I drove up to the house plowing my drive in the process, first barrelling through the 3'street pile. Highway driving with these tires in 4-8 of snow is no issue and the car will stop - without sliding. Because I ski a lot I needed a reliable snow tire. I bought these tires due to running all seasons and winding up in a highway median. I will never use all season tires in the winter again. One last thing, once you buy these tires, and there is 4+ inches of snow on the ground, put your vehicle in 4X4 drive to a big unplowed parking lot and try to make the vehicle slide side ways --- you cannot-- or to say it is very, very difficult. The tires have diagonal bars that halt lateral movement - I was amazed. I am a very satisfied customer. Also, I did not stud the tires and have not felt the need to. I wrote this because I drove back from VT last night in the October Storm passing hundreds of cars off the road and I literally watch cars drive off the road, hit guard rails etc. Good luck with them you will not be dissatisfied.
