Follow-Up Review: 7,000 miles on tires
I moved to Missouri in August. I wish they had better treadlife, I am currently at 2/3 tread. I have about 8500 miles on these tires. I noticed that the wet traction diminished some after the tread had worn a bit. All of that being said, these tires are amazing in snow and Icy conditions. Thursday night we recieved 2 inches of sleet. Friday morning there was several inches of snow piled on top of the ice. I had to drive to work and I am very satisfied, I feel confident I will be able to reach my destination no problem. There was an instance where I slid off the side of the road into a ditch going up a hill. I was able to back down the hill without assistance and get back onto the road. My only complaint is the treadlife.
Initial Review: 1,200 miles on tires
1200 Miles on these tires and they perform well. They have tons of grip in the rain. I bought them at the end of the winter and they have yet to see snow or ice. They are a little noisy. I think a lot of people on hear blow the noise out of proportion. I can turn the radio down and still have a quiet ride, you can hear the tires though. A super swamper can be called a noisy tire, that's like comparing a lawnmower engine to a jet engine though. They really are not that loud. They ride excellent. I have yet to spin a tire in the rain.
