Firestone Firehawk Indy 500
Initial Review: 300 miles on tires
April 23, 2018

I just had the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires installed a week ago and have enjoyed the 300 miles thus far. The ride is 100% better as compared to the Bridgestone run-flats that had been installed. What was a jarring ride over the horrible Michigan roads has become a comfortable ride. I still need to dodge the potholes but over all the car feels so much better. I haven't driven the car in rain with these tires yet so will add more to this review when that happens. Same with tread wear. These tires have an aggressive look which looks very good on my Z4, and so far I have been very pleased with cornering ability and steering response. I'm sad to hear these tires have been discontinued as they are at a very aggressive price point and for the money they are excellent.
