These replaced the Bridgestone Ecopia tires I had on my Mazda 3. Overall this was a massive improvement. These tires are very quiet by comparison, and maybe the most quiet tires I've ever used. They really perform predictably on the road and provide excellent handling. The grip around corners is superior and I can make many turns now that would cause my Ecopias to lose traction. The tires shine in the inclement weather too. I do not feel any less confident with these tires in the rain than I would when the roads are dry. They do a great job of channelling water through the seemingly massive tread. I've driven my same car with Yokohama Avid's and would prefer the performance of these over the Yokohama's in almost every aspect just to give a comparison in the same High Performance All Season class of tires. Initially these tires dropped fuel efficiency about 4 MPG over the Ecopias but now that they're broken in it is less, about 2 MPG. This is to be expected with a higher performance tire that has better grip. The price point on the tires is really what makes them worth it, $280 installed (pending a rebate from Firestone). At that price I'll buy these again and again as long as they hold up to the 50,000 mile rating.
