Firestone Destination A/T
Initial Review: 65,000 miles on tires
July 27, 2012

I use my truck to commute to and from work, and in all kinds of weather. When my last set was getting low on tread, I realized I bought these tires about 65K to 75K miles ago!
During the NE winter of 2010-2011, I frequently drove wife and myself into work; at this point these tires had 35-45% tread left. That winter hit us so hard and unexpected, the highways weren't even plowed sometimes. So I ended up cutting my own path in 6-12 inch snow drifts on the interstate at 35-55mph depedning on the depth of snow. I just bought a new pair and am dying to go play in the snow! Its true the ride isn't Cadillac-smooth [brand new they are great] but I'm driving an old Chevy pickup so take that with a grain of salt. The price is pretty steep upfront, but unless things change with Firestone, I may never buy another brand for my truck. Bottom line, I'd refer these tires to my friends/family and anyone else I know.
