we had these for 35K on our 2003 civic hybrid. at about 8 years they still had tread but a couple of the tires went out of round as we did not drive the car frequently now and then. Decided to put new ones on the car after a lot of reading of reviews. They are great on the civic hybrid. great traction even when taking hard corners fast and on/off ramps (hybrid has lots of torque on the lower end and its got a pretty good suspension for handling) and there is no slippage, squealing or handling issues. Never had an issue with the tires on rain or light snow/ice on the old or new set of tires. I cant think how people must be driving to get them to have traction issues, maybe a heavier/larger car, but ive never come close to it breaking away at all.

they are a harder sidewall so not as coushie of ride as other radials, but not bad at all. road noise is minimal, its a pretty light and thin walled car, not a luxury ride. so far milage has stayed at around 45 winter and closer to 50 in the summer (can get better, just most driving is short and worse for decent mpg) on the new set, so no initial hit on the new tires i can see.

happy camper.
