Initial Review: 50 miles on tires

WOW! I understand why this tire has so many good reviews. My husband picked out these tires and we are both very pleased with them. I rode in the car today for the first time and noticed a HUGE difference. These tires are super quiet; the ride was much smoother than before; and the handling is terrific. We have not driven in snow with them, but don't plan to. Our BMW 530i is not good in the snow, but in case we do get caught in it, I feel our chances of getting home safely are better than average. These tires are very clever in that they tell you when they are worn out. I learned the DWS is on the tire tread and as they wear, the S will fade, meaning they will not be as good in snow, when the W fades, they don't handle wet roads as well, and when the D for dry fades, it's time for new tires. I highly recommend these tires and buying from Tire Rack. Our mechanic suggested Tire Rack and I was amazed at how quickly our tires were drop shipped to the shop. I rate this Tire Rack experience and these tires with an A+.
