These tired replaced the (horrible) stock tires on my 2012 Jetta SE. Living in New England I wanted a high performance all-season tire for spirited summer drives as well as harsh winter commutes and/or ski trips. These tires have only lost traction once, in poorly plowed slushy city conditions - and have been great in dry, wet, and light snow. They have been solid on the highway and I have had no vibration or other issues. Having previously run with ultra-high-perf summer tires on an Audi sedan, I have some level of comparison to true high-performance tires. These run a little harder and the rubber is obviously not as sticky - but they are smoother, quieter, and grippier than I expected in an all-season and significantly better than the stock tires I had previously. A great upgrade for a very reasonable price compared to other tires in the category.

I also think the DWS system is simple and genius. So much easier than remembering what that old thing with the penny and Lincoln's head is. One look tells you if you have tread left for each condition.
