Continental ExtremeContact DWS
Initial Review: 35,000 miles on tires
January 29, 2013

I've had the Conti ExtremeContact DWS tires for over 2 years. I've enjoy every single mile I've had them on especially replacing the old Dunlop Summer tires that the previous owner had.

Initial few hundred miles, I did noticed that the wet traction was a little disappointing but once I was able to dial in the PSI on my VW, that totally changed. Unless it was there was a monsoon out there, the tires stuck to the asphalt. So if you don't like how these DWS initially work, adjust your tire pressure accordingly.

At 35,000 miles, the wear is great and just feels like the tires at 1,000 miles. With proper rotation and tire pressure, I may get near the 50k miles mark.
