Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus
Initial Review: 4,500 miles on tires
January 07, 2013

Having over 100,000 on this Taurus I was going to put my third set of tires on it. The last set from Ge...al left me feeling like I was ice skating in the car and droned like I was missing something in the exhaust system (tires were religiously rotated every 3,000 miles and still had some life after 55,000 miles). As soon as these Bridgestone Serenity Plus tires were installed by the recommend installer from Tire Rack (a very pleasant experience there), I could not believe how quiet, responsive and smooth the vehicle drove. I start taking the back roads so I could have fun with the car. When we went on trips instead of taking the wife's new car, we took mine just because of ride of the car. My wife and kids even notice the lack of noise and the the better ride of the car. So to say we went on day trips and vacation and instead of taking the new car we jumped into my old Taurus and hit the road using the back roads. Wet weather does not seem to diminished the secure feeling the tires give and they handle the same way. In the snow, we have had 3 to 6 inches, and these tires still give you the feeling that they are firmly planted to the road (granted you can always get the tires to spin, but they keep the back end from sliding around, a plus). I will say this when my wife's car needs new tires she will get a set of these from Tire Rack placed on her car.
