I was only seeking Bridgestone (JP) or Micheline (FR), but as the French competitor was more expensive and were not made in France, I chose BS made in Japan (I grew up in Yokohama, Japan but Yokohama tires didn't seem to match either BS or MI). I rev my 3.2L VTEC motor very often and drive hard.

There were two more expensive BS summer tires with not so impressive reviews, so I chose these as they were affordable. Visual appearance is important for me, and these tires look good on my 04 TL with 18 factory optional rims. Overall performance is better than average but not breathtaking. They do what they are designed to do. Road noise is slightly more noticeable than all-season tires that came with the vehicle when I bought it (Korean Nexen). Road impact is moderate but when hitting a deep hole, they transmit direct impact inside the cabin, as my suspension set-up is for firmer sporty driving.

Considering the price & quality, these tires are a great value for the money. If they wear out, I'd probably buy the same tires again unless BS comes up with new products.

P.S: I just purchased a set of Dunlop (JP/DE; WS3D was DE) WS3D winter tires, as winter in the North Shore can be harsh at times. I wish Tirerack sells composite chains sold in Japan (bought $30 metal chains (China) at Amazon).
