Bridgestone Potenza RE050A I RFT
Initial Review: 15,000 miles on tires
October 13, 2012

Ok I think some of the reviews on this tire are harsh. Ive had michelin PS2(louder and softer side wall),Pirelli p zeros multiple bridgestones, Contisport 3s and to be honest they have all lasted well past 20000 miles, all get loud when they wear, to me only the michelins seemed to be prone to punctures when worn. I think that for a rft it rides exactly like its non runflat counterpart. I personally like a little firmer sidewall since I corner hard. I think a lot of reviewers on this site have not had sport tires in the past and therefore blame the rft for noise and rough rides etc., this is not true for this tire. I also think that a lot of people don't maintain correct pressures in there tires and get into wear and puncture problems. You cannot tell the pressure on a RFT by just looking at them good ---! If you like a firmer side wall go for these the pirellis or the contisport 3s. I think the conti 3s have the best dry grip however it doesnt have a rft version yet. If you dont like a firm ride go for the Michelins.
