Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R
Initial Review: 1,000 miles on tires
April 25, 2017

I bought these to run F Street SCCA Solo hoping to be competitive and they have not disappointed. The grip is immense, the tire response is razor sharp and they have great grip from the first run. On the stock Pirelli P-Zero's out of three events I managed 13th, 5th and 16th in Pax overall out of 55 to 77 drivers depending on the event. Now, four events in on squared 275/35/19 RE71r I have managed three 1st and one 2nd place over all in Pax in groups from 55 to 105 drivers. To me the results speak for themselves. On the tread wear front I will update this at the end of the season but I imagine they will be competitive for the remaining 8 events. Also to note I throw these tires on at the house and drive to events that are anywhere from 20 miles to 150 miles away but they are not daily driven.
