Initial Review: 2,000 miles on tires

This is the third set of Bridgestone Blizzak tires for my Subaru Forester. All have performed extremely well on snow and ice. Excellent traction in light & heavy snow and great traction on ice. I worry more about the car behind me stopping instead of will I stop. For this reason, when in snow, I try not to make any sudden stops or turns. Like all dedicated winter tires vs all-season tires, the Blizzaks wear more quickly and have no mileage warranty. The softer rubber also makes them a bit mushy (when compared to all-seasons) on dry pavement. I take them off & replace with Goodyear Comforteds (an excellent, quiet all-season tire) at the end of each winter season. I highly recommend the Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 tires for reliable & safe winter driving.
