Initial Review: 10,000 miles on tires

I rarely take the trouble to write positive reviews, but after my experience yesterday I had to give these tires a nod. I drove about 250 miles in a snow storm in temps below 15degF, highway and local driving. Roads were a mix of wet where salt had melted snow, packed snow, slushy snow, probably some ice underneath. Virtually every possible condition. Combined with AWD on my Hyundai, these tires performed flawlessly. Cars were spun out, drivers were crawling along with their hazard lights on. I was able to drive up 55 mph, in the lanes that hadn't been well-plowed, passing trucks and cars, with confidence. Never lost control, car remained stable, tracked steering input very well. I had wondered if it was worth the money for dedicated snow tires...I'm not wondering anymore. These are killer snow tires.
