These are truly excellent tires. Given their size, they do an amazing job in the snow. What it more amazing - for as well as they handle icy, winter conditions, they are a delight in the dry. For as aggressive as the tread pattern is with it's deeply grooved configuration, I was expecting quite a bit of sacrifice in dry weather cornering and other characteristics. Quite surprisingly, these tires are not only quiet for snow tires, they are on par in this measure with the Bridgestone all season OE fitment. Sure, they're a bit softer and not as crisp in the corners, but quite smooth just the same. And, for all of that, you could still drive up the side of a building with them- traction is amazing. I've owned just about every other mainstream brand of snow tire, and while there are many good ones out there, for winter performance, nothing beats a Blizak!
