Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1
Follow-Up Review: 311 miles on tires
October 27, 2012
This is a follow up from my previous report on the Bridgestone DM-V1 tyres. Firstly, I want to correct the make and model of my vehicle, it should of been recorded as a Lexus RX F Sport (2013) and not a Lexus GS 350 F Sport (2013). As the temperatures begin to drop here in Calgary, Alberta (Canada), these Bridgestones DM-V1 perform very well in the deep snow and ice with no hesitations whatsoever. A few days ago, we had about 15cms of snow and while driving up Bow Trail here in the South West, I had no problems accelerating up the hill, while watching in my rear view mirror nearly everybody spun out or in some cases completely stalled their vehicles as they struggled to get traction climbing up. I would never dream of driving without these tyres in the winter. I must say these are the best winter tyres that I have had. With that in mind I have been driving for over 24 years throughout Europe and I am very impressed with these Bridgestone DM-V1 tyres.
Initial Review: 155 miles on tires
October 21, 2012

I got Lexus Dealership to put the Bridgestone DM-V1 tyres on separate rims based on research and feedback from other owners at Tirerack. I have only driven about 250km (155.342798 miles) on these winter tyres and they are First Class with top marks, with no slippping or sliding. In Calgary we have many hills like Bow Trail and Sarcee Trail and these tyres perform very well indeed. As a previous owner mentioned that they are like velcro to ice and snow. I hope to get at least 3 winter seasons out of them. Well done Bridgestone
