THESE TIRES ARE USED IN PARK CITY UT IN A SUBDIVISION UP ON A MTN SIDE. OUR ROADS ARE SO STEEP AND SNOWY THAT THE COUNTY SENDS AROUND A FRONT END LOADER WITH CHAINS ON ALL FOUR WHEELS BEFORE THE SNOW PLOW COMES BY! TEN INCHES OF WET, SLICK SNOW, UNPLOWED AND I HAD NO TROUBLE MOVING, STOPPING OR STEERING AT ALL. THE FEDEX DELIVERY SUV WAS STUCK, AS WELL AS THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE, BUT I JUST MOTORED ALONG. NO SLIPPING, SLIDING OR STEERING PROBLEMS. BUY ANYTHING ELSE AND YOU WILL REGRET IT UNLESS I PULL YOU OUT OF A SNOW BANK! OK, THE TREAD IS SOFT WHICH I GUESS WHAT MAKES THEM WORK SO WELL. SO ON DRY PAVEMENT THEY DO WOBBLE A BIT IN THE CORNERS AND ON THE INTERSTATE AT 75 MPH, AS THE CAR TENDS TO LEAN OVER THE TREAD. THE SAME APPLIES TO WET ROADS ALTHOUGH USUALLY I WOULDN'T BE DRIVING 75 ON I-80 WHEN IT IS REAL WET. YOU JUST PAY A BIT MORE ATTENTION TO YOUR DRIVING AND ADJUST FOR THE SLOWER RESPONSE AND BIT OF WANDERING THAT OCCURS IN CORNERS. NEW TIRES SO NO INFO ON HOW LONG THEY WILL LAST, BUT EVERYONE WHO HAS THEM SAYS 2 TO 3 SEASONS (EARLY DEC TO APRIL) IF YOU DON'T HOT ROD AROUND WITH THEM ON DRY PAVEMENT. THEY REALLY ARE A FANTASTIC WINTER TIRE IF YOU LIVE WHERE IT SNOWS AND YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE NOW AND NOT WHEN THE ROADS GET ALL CLEANED OFF IN 2 OR 3 DAYS.
