BFGoodrich Radial Long Trail T/A
Initial Review: 75,000 miles on tires
December 07, 2012

I bought a new Nissan Xterra in 2006 which came OEM with BFG Long Trail T/A's and I rotated them no more than twice if that many times. This year (2012) I replaced the front tires at 70K and the rear at 80K. I still have the old tires and they still have an acceptable amount of tread on them for the amount of miles they have on them.

I was so impressed with this tire that I replaced them with another set of BFG Long Trail T/A tires. I live in the deep South so the tires were never exposed to anything other than summer heat and rain; and 100% of my driving is either city or interstate.

I have never had a set of tires last me this long or give me the quality service that these tires did; I am super-impressed with them. Of course, to be fair, my Nissan has the Federally mandated tire pressure sensor installed and when it indicated a low tire I would check them all and adjust them to 35 PSI. So, that may account for the long life that I got from them because everyone knows running a tire under-inflated is a death sentence for a tire.

I read several negative reviews on this website about this tire so I wanted to throw in my two cents to even the score. I thought about taking pictures of these tires and send them and a thank you note to BFG for making such a splendid tire.

I am well pleased with these tires and can't say enough good things about them. Of course, everyone's driving conditions, experience, and habits are different but for my money there is no better tire for my vehicle, environment, or money. Thanks BFG!
