Time on street tires: 64.527 time on BFG R1-S 59.209 and that was only my second run. My third and fourth were on a wet track with puddles all over it. I was the only idiot that actually pushed his car and they only lost traction twice (thank you Audi for the wonderful quattro or I may have ended up in the grass) I am giving it a high water rating because for a DOT slick, nothing came close. I still did 60.333 soaking wet. The tire pressures went up 5lbs on the first lap, 2lbs on the second. 3rd and fourth were in rain, so I didnt bother checking pressures since I am quite sure they got cooled a LOT.
Everyone in CCR wanted me to give feedback so they would know to rebuy Hoosiers or get this new tire and I have to say that there is NO need to buy Hoosiers. This tire is very crisp and does not slowly lose grip. It holds the road like glue, and when it lets go it is immediate, not a slow loss of grip like in the Kooks. I prefer knowing when I push things too hard so I do not consider that a negative. I led DS by 4 seconds, and my PAX was higher than the ASP cars that ran in the dry.
