These tires are really good tires. Drove through two snow storms already one was pretty icy. Tires performed excellent. They are very quiet and much more responsive then the horrible OEM tires. Most likely will not last crazy long but they are not intended to. I have Michelin Primacy tires that are OEM on my Camry and they are very nice but I will also be...  Read More

Great tire. Handles well in wet, dry and light snow conditions. Have not tested in heavy snow but these tires exceed expectations for use in moderate climates such as mid atlantic states.   Read More

I have a 2012 Ford Escape 4wd, I got it last April with 34,xxx on it, these tires were brand new from the dealer. They suffice in the summer, fall and spring. Quiet, smooth, and yields great fuel economy, (26-28 in the summer). Excellent dry and wet grip, and cornering stability considering the profile (truck balloons, not sport sedan)Now the real reason for...  Read More

These were OEM tires from Hyundai. These tires are poor quality, noisy on the road and poor traction on wet roads. I'm always scared to drive every time there's heavy rain or the road is wet. I'm planning to replace my tires this winter with Michelin.   Read More

Bought a set if four about a month ago. After the trip home I noticed what I thought was an out of balance driver 's side front tire. I drive a lot of new , smooth as glass pavement. At 50 mph and above I perceived a small vibration driver's front. Had them all re-balanced at no cost thank goodness. Two were dead on and two needed .25 ounce weight added.The...  Read More

For the category it is in, UHP, it is an excellent tire! Steering is crisp and precise. Traction is great at getting the power to the ground having over 200HP in a FWD car. Under hard braking there is little to no tire slip. Mind you this is a fully track setup car that see's daily driving. These tires were my choice in longevity and performance. I would buy...  Read More

Where I live in Michigan, winter weather can vary drastically from day to day. The main roads tend to be slushy and sometimes icy. My neighborhood roads (and my driveway) can often be a sheet of ice! Yet these tires have handled these conditions amazingly well! Even driving through deeper snow, whether it's light and powdery or heavier and more dense, these...  Read More

I was only seeking Bridgestone (JP) or Micheline (FR), but as the French competitor was more expensive and were not made in France, I chose BS made in Japan (I grew up in Yokohama, Japan but Yokohama tires didn't seem to match either BS or MI). I rev my 3.2L VTEC motor very often and drive hard. There were two more expensive BS summer tires with not...  Read More

1k miles and 2 autox so far, coming from 12+ autox on DZii* last season. I'll compare to the DZii* mainly as I try not to daily these. More ultimate grip in the dry. Gets up to temp on a mid 60s day very quickly, maybe I think faster than the DZii*. Autocrossed in 32 deg wet weather and the grip was slightly better than I expected for such conditions, but by...  Read More

These replaced a set of PS2s on my Cayman R. I mostly use this car for track days but also drive it around town on occasion. Two track days last weekend on the new set. I was more than 3 seconds faster around Palmer Motorsports Park over the PS2s. I've also had the super sports on this track and would say the RE71R was about 2 seconds faster around his...  Read More

I'd like to start this review off by saying I hate when people review a tire when they haven't gone through the months, miles, and seasons first. 10,000 miles or less isn't even note-worthy of a review. stop wasting our time with these lame reviews! Now, back to my review after a current 26,000 miles and 2+ years worth of driving through ALL conditions here...  Read More

These are OEM tires on my ML350 BlueTec with 20in AMG rims. After 24,000 miles they are completely worthless in even and inch of snow/slush. Up to 10,000 miles they performed reasonably well in the snow with dramatic reduction in traction as the miles added up. I'm going to buy another set of rims and dedicated winter tires, I might get one more summer out...  Read More

So far I have no complaints, may turn out to be my best tire purchase ever. Great price and great handling. Time will tell if they hold up. Only have 1500 miles on them now so I can't speak for longevity but I don't expect any problem. Just really great purchase.   Read More

Purchased these tires in summer of 2014 and switch them out each winter with my Blizzack's. They are nice in the summer as far as traction, low noise level and comfort. BUT...I am a conservative, easy driver and these tires are worn down to the wear bars already after 21,500 miles. I can't understand how some other reviews claim low wear. Also, they slip...  Read More

In dry weather the Michelin LTX AT2 grips the road well and corners nicely. In damp or wet weather the tires always break loose accelerating from a stop. Hydroplaning is so-so. I don't feel confident pushing the pace when it's wet outside. As far as snow is concerned, forget it. It's like being on ski's. I was trying to go up a very slight hill on my street,...  Read More

Bought these to replace some Bridgestone 960ASs; they were some great tires so I was loath to replace them. At 4/32 I didn't have much choice though. I am happy to report that, thus far, the Michelins are living up to all the hype. I haven't driven through a winter yet so I can't comment on ice or snow. In the wet they are pretty good though I still get some...  Read More

Only 250 miles and no wet driving yet. These are the best max performance tire that I have owned. Ride comfort compared to the stock all season RFTs is far superior. Not as responsive, but the grip is amazing and what you give up in responsiveness is paid back 10 fold in ride quality. I took an off ramp at speed today that previously would have caused the...  Read More

I just had four Firestone Firehawk AS tires installed today. 245/45/20 size. Unfortunately, Tire Rack was out of stock, so I had to buy elsewhere. The tires are smooth and drive nice but I am a little disappointed in the noise they put out. They are a little loud. Nowhere near as loud as the Firehawk GT's they replaced, however. Hopefully, the tires will get...  Read More
