Just wondering what other tires I could put on my 2014 mustang v6 to handle wet roads really well other than the standard pirelli tires that came on it. Not very happy with the pirelli they seem to slide too much making the car a bit uncomfortable to drive in rainy weather.

I need a replacement tire that will offer the best in wet road traction and handling with a secondary priority of low noise. What would you suggest?

Rich, The best tire for the vehicle is the Michelin Premier LTX. This tire features Michelin's EverGrip technology which allows the siping to get wider as the tire wears. What this means for you is safe wet traction even as the tire wears down. This tire also has good road manners that will provide a smooth and quiet ride.

Wednesday, April 4, 2018 by driali

I have 2011 civic coupe lx with 205/55/16 tires. which tire do you recommend for best wet traction (northern California, no snow) ?
Tuesday, April 10, 2018 by Tire Rack Team

Driali, the size of the tire would likely not have any effect on the wet traction, if there was, the slight advantage would go to the taller sidewall or the smaller wheel diameter. One of the best wet traction tires would be the Continental Pure Contact. Follow the link to see current pricing in the 215/60R16:

driali, there are a couple of good tire choices in your size. The best wet traction in an all-season tire would be an ultra high performance all season category tire like the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+. Follow the link for current pricing:
