Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Crugen HT51

I purchased the Kumho Crugen HT51 235/70R-16 in October of 2017. Fantastic tire for the price! At just over $100 per tire, I feel like I received not only a tremendous value for the dollar, but a great tire. My wife noticed the quietness and smooth ride immediately. So far, so great!   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum

These tires are just amazing for the price. Perform almost as well as the top brands but last significantly longer and for half the price. I've driven about 30,000 miles so far on them and notice no deterioration of the tread. Which sounds impossible. These tires are about 2 lbs heavier each than Pirelli P-Zero, which probably impacts fuel economy minutely.   Read More

OEM on my Kia Soul. Much better than the Nexen's on my friends Kia. 1st WI winter, they were decent. I think I can survive 1 more WI winter, then they will be questionable. I would not buy these again, but for OEM they are pretty darn good.   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta PA31

My second set of Kumhos, and once again I know I've made the right decision! The Ecsta PA31 is an awesome tire that combines great traction, superb handling and control, and a very quiet ride for an aggressive tire. My Genesis has never been happier, and neither have I! If you are looking for an absolute great tire and a great value, you can't go wrong with...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus

I purchased this tire after the previous Kumho tires had worn completely and had caused ride comfort to be something to be desired for after switching from a soft winter tire set. To be fair the Kumho had lasted about 40k miles.Initial thoughts about the Pirelli All Season Plus is that they ride comfortably, are quiet, provide adequate traction, do not...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Solus TA31

2017 Chevy Spark new in Feb 2017; stick shift. Tires are as sporty as they come (I mostly drive compacts and subcompacts such as VW/Sonic/Honda) and I'm fussy enough about tires to have, in the past, replaced new OEM tires that were optimized for cheapness not performance (for example, with Sumitomo's on one Dodge Neon). So far - and there's been no rain in...  Read More

These tires are a bargain. They are great in all weather conditions, are fuel efficient, wear well, handle well, and are quiet.   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum

I installed these tires on 17 Bullitt wheels on my car, and the difference over the stock tires are amazing! No more wheelspin until light throttle, excellent road manners, and they're actually very quiet... Other reviewers have gotten over 60,00 miles out of their Kumho's, hopefully my experience will be similar   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum

These are summer tires, replacing original Conti ProContact (42K mi). At half the price of Conti/Michelin, etc etc, I must say I am extremely pleased with their performance. I had also considered the BFG g-Force A/S but after talking to Bart at TireRack, he said that he felt the non-directional tread pattern enabled diagonal rotation, whereas the BFG would...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Solus KH25

Stock tires that came with vehicle, we purchased the car 10,000 miles ago so we pretty much got the short end of the stick with the tires. But based off on 38,000 miles, they are worn down to the bone, literally hovering around 2/32. My girlfriend and I drive like bats out of -------- sometimes but mostly it's cruising and high end speeds on the expressway....  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta ASX

I bought the Kumho Ecsta ASX as a winter tire replacement for the summer tires that came on my car. I am very impressed with the Kumhos. These are a great tire for the money! Handling is great, snow traction is decent, and ride noise is very low. I may keep them on my car all year long. I would recommend them.   Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum

For 85% of driving this tire is fine, but if you want to drive more spirited, be forewarned. You can feel the flex of the sidewall entering curves...so in a sense you steer left or right and you can feel the load shift on the tire, then the steering input takes effect. Not confidence inspiring. These replaced Goodyear OEM RS-A's. They had a much lower...  Read More

These tires are awesome and very affordable, I replaced my old Good Year Assurance tires with these and I cannot be more satisfied. This may sound crazy but these tires in my personal opinion are way better that the Good Year Assurance tires If you are thinking about these, there is no way to go wrong. I was looking for an affordable set of tires for our Jetta. The Kumho was recommended by my mechanic and even though they were less than $300 a set I took a chance and ordered them. The results blew me away! Quiet, comfortable and excellent handling in extreme wet conditions! I drove home through a major rain storm and the car was stable, steady and on...  Read More

Got these tires for a road trip from south Florida to Montana at Christmas. drove thru heavy rain, light snow, deep snow, and ice. some grades at 7 percent uphill and down hill , these never failed me and my sons. got to Missoula Mt. a day early to surprise mom on Christmas morning. Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Continental PureContact with EcoPlus Technology

Bought these as replacements for the OEM Kumhos that came with my car... The Kumhos were ok as long as it wasn't too wet out. They were horrible in the snow... but these Continental PureContacts were very highly rated and that turned out to be true. This is a fantastic tire - great traction in the rain and light snow... and quiet as well. These are a bargain...  Read More

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to do so for this tire.Just replaced my Ecsta Platinums with another set after 61K miles! I've rarely gotten more than 40K out of a set of tires before they started having problems - and never remember over 50K. 95% highway miles - and while I'm not aggressive with the tires, I'm no Sunday driver either. Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S

BEST SUMMER TIRES EVER. Save yourself the time and just buy them. I've had Kumho, Sumitomo, Goodyear, Pirelli, Bridgestone and a lot of the Michelin's before the PS4. The PS4's are light years ahead. Unbelievable traction in all conditions, even at the limits. Yet somehow they are super quiet and the ride quality is amazing. Soft, supple even. I have them on...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta STX KL12

I have been very happy with these tires. Wet traction had been a concern with my old tires (don't even remember what brand they were) and these are significantly better and have not slipped or hydroplaned at all. I haven't driven them on snow or ice--hey it's Alabama--we just wait a few hours for it to melt. The sound level has gotten a little louder now...  Read More

Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Kumho Ecsta PS91

I changed the stock Continental ContiSport tires on my A3 Sedan at around 2,000 miles since I was unhappy with the grip they had, the car would just wheelspin all the time, triggering traction control, and on turns the car would push excessively on corner entry. After deciding many different options looking at forums and friends' advice, I decided to go with...  Read More
