An Aggressive All-Terrain from General

General Grabber AT2The General Grabber AT2 is a great On-/Off-Road All-Terrain tire that provides outstanding off-road capability, deep water and snow traction, long wear and a quiet ride.

The tire has a square tread contour which optimizes the tread contact patch with the road surface it encounters. An advanced cut- and chip-resistant tread compound protects the tire from permanent damage and chunking, especially in the unfriendly world of off-roading.

With an optimized five row tread pattern, you will feel aggressive gripping and biting in a variety of weather conditions and on rough roads. These high levels of grip result in lots of confidence when you are behind the wheel. The five tread rows are somewhat staggered to avoid any 'see through' patterns. By having a stagger in pattern, this eliminates tread edges slamming into the road surface at the same time, resulting in a quieter and stronger tire. There are also extra deep traction ridges (sipes) and large void areas with tapered self cleaning lugs. These features work together to help pull the vehicle through all sorts of challenging terrain, including sand, snow, deep water and mud.

The General Grabber AT2 is also mountain/snowflake rated. What is the mountain/snowflake symbol found on the tire mean? Read "How to Confirm a Winter Performer" to get a better understanding of the mountain/snowflake symbol.

The race proven AT2 is also the official tire of the TROPHYLITE Race Series.

If you are looking for all-terrain traction, year-round reliability and a great aggressive look, your search may have ended with the outstanding value found in the Grabber AT2. It delivers all of this plus a surprisingly quiet ride and long tread life. It is very stable on gravel and wet roads from light to heavy rain. The tire also comes with a 30-day satisfaction trial. The p-metric sizes also feature a 60,000 mile limited tread life warranty (sorry not applicable on LT or flotation sizes).

There is a wide range of sizes available from 14" - 20". Fitments include the Ford F150, Chevy Silverado, Jeep Wrangler and many others.

Why are some sizes of the grabber at2 snow flake marked and some not?

Hi Philbert,
The ones without the marking did not pass the higher standard for snow traction.
