ENVigorate Your Drive

One of the most important aspects of my job is to help my customers get the best tire for their driving needs and budget. When I talk with our customers to get some idea about what they are looking for in a tire, very often the answer is, ”A little bit of everything.” If you are like the average driver today, you are looking to get the most you can for your tire dollars. Do you want.....

  • Touring tire ride comfort
  • Performance tire handling
  • All-season traction
  • Low rolling resistance for improved fuel economy
  • All at a reasonable price
Yokohama Tire Corp.'s answer to these needs is the AVID ENVigor. It offers all-season performance, low rolling resistance, smooth comfort and long treadlife. Available in 69 sizes, this tire was designed for a broad range of vehicles, including entry-level and luxury coupes, sedans and SUVs — the ENVigor will replace Yokohama's popular AVID H4s/V4s and W4 tires.
With ENVigor, Yokohama has develop a tire that has great rolling resistance, performance treadwear and comfort for its category.

During development, Yokohama’s engineers looked at handling, braking and rolling resistance, just like we do at Tire Rack. The result of this thorough development is one of the best all-around tires.

Yokohama says this is the direction that H-rated tires will be going. These tires need nice handling, treadwear and strong rolling resistance; they have to be everything now. According to Yokohama, this tire is not just high performance, it is “grand performance.”

When Tire Rack tested the Yokohama AVID ENVigor a few weeks ago, we found that it had a nice, linear feel to the way it responded to steering inputs. It also kept much of the road's harshness away from the driver while still feeling predictable and stable. In the wet, the Yokohama handled well, displaying good overall traction and excellent stability during hard cornering and braking. Our testing concluded as follows:
The AVID ENVigor is a well-rounded package with very good traction and reasonable road manners.

If you want a little bit of everything in a lot of good tire, look no further.

I purchased the Yokohama Avid Envigor about two ago for my Murano. Without a doubt, these are the best tires that I have ever owned. They absorb the bumps, crack, and tar strips. They are the quietest tire I have ever owned. They make my 03' feel better then new.
