What is the exact diameter of the bore? I have seen some aftermarket suppose to be hubcentric wheels with some plays when fitted on an axle, even 1 to 2 milimeter lager bore gave some play. I just want to make sure it will b an exact fit like oe steelies before i place an order. Thx.
Thursday, January 10, 2013 by ben@tirerack

Jason, the centerbore is 56mm.
Friday, January 11, 2013 by Jason

Thank you for the reply Ben. 2 more question please. First, Subaru list their OEM wheel centerbore size as 56.1mm. Now, is 0.1mm difference going to give me a problem fitting? Second, OEM offset is 48mm, yours is 50mm. Is 2mm difference gonna be a problem? I think the differences are so small to case any fitting issues but I am not an expert like you guys :) Well one more question while I am at it. Have you actually fitted the wheel on a recent Subarus? Thanks alot and that would be all.
Friday, January 11, 2013 by ben@tirerack

You are welcome Jason. Yes we have put them on many recent Subarus. For every car that we list them as available, we do confirm correct fitment specific to that vehicle. The 2mm difference in offset is negligible in most cases, and the .01 difference in nominal diameter has not posed any issue for installation.

Can I use the 16 inch rim on 2008 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Wagon? If so, what size tire would need to be installed on the 16 inch rim to match the total diameter of the P205/50 R17 already installed

Hi Marc, to view the options available for your vehicle click the 'vehicle' link in the post above.

hi, i have tires size 235/45/17 for winter time and im wondering if you have anything rims or steely for that size?
Thursday, November 7, 2013 by Ed

Why are there no more 16 inch wheels for Subaru Forester? I would like to use 16s for the winter instead of the 18s on the car now.
Thursday, November 7, 2013 by ben@tirerack

Ed, if you are referring to the 2014 Forester, 17" is the smallest that can fit on it. We have not found any 16" to clear the brakes and fit correctly.

I found steel wheels to fit my 2015 WRX using your snow tire and wheel package tool. The steel wheels say that they fit my car, but they DO NOT SPECIFY THE OFFSET. I haven't been able to find 17" 5x114.3 steels with the a +55 offset anywhere. What is the offset of these wheels?
Friday, October 2, 2015 by Tire Rack Team

David, Our records do not seem to indicate that 17" steel wheels are available for the new 2015 WRX. Previous WRX models allow for downsizing and therefore 16" wheels, however I do not see such an option for 2015+ models.

Do you have a 15 inch steel wheel for winter tires to put on my new 2016 Subaru Crosstrek?
Monday, December 28, 2015 by Tire Rack Team

Ernest, We do not have any 15" wheels that will clear the brake calipers on the Crosstrek. --
Monday, January 25, 2016 by Jed D.

I'm looking to buy snow tires and steelies for my 2015 Impreza. Mine is a "Sport" trim, which comes with 17” x 7.0” and 205/50R17. The steelies that come on the entry-level are apparently 15” x 5.0”. I don't want 17" snow tires, nor do I want to reduce the footprint by 2" per wheel. So I would have to buy aftermarket, ideally 15" x 7.0" (alternatively 16" x 7.0"), and figure out which tire size yields the overall diameter of my Sport. Are you able to confirm if this size rim would clear components, and do you know the offset and bolt pattern? Thanks! Jed
Wednesday, January 27, 2016 by Tire Rack Team

Jed D., Generally you will see aftermarket wheels that measure 15X6 or 15X6.5" in order to work properly with size 195/65R15 (maintains your overall diameter within 1/10th of an inch). The bolt pattern for the Subaru would be 5-100. The offset can vary, so for that portion we recommend taking a look at our minus size, guaranteed fit options:

I have a 2005 legact gt with the factory 17" wheels but wanting 16" for winter just wheels not tires also?
Friday, September 23, 2016 by Tire Rack Team

Tyler, Unfortunately we do not off a 16" wheel that will clear the calipers on a GT model.

I have a 2015 Impreza, any chance you will start selling steel wheels as an option for my car?

Yes there are wheels in 15 inch that will fit your car. Just select the 15" filter option:

would you have steel 17" rims for my 2018 impreza sport? Do you carry the sensors?
Thursday, December 28, 2017 by Tire Rack Team

Barney: Your Imprezza would not take a 17-inch wheel because the wheel would not fit over the brake caliper. We do carry the sensors for your Imprezza, please call Seth at 888-541-1777, ext. 4177.

Do you carry a 16 Inch steel wheel that will fit a 2016 Subaru Outback that I can use with a 225/70R/16 snow tire to achieve the same overall diameter of my 17 inch summer wheels+tires?

Thursday, January 11, 2018 by Tire Rack Team

Steve, you have the right idea in downsizing but your Subaru Outback would not fit a 16-inch over the brake caliper so 17-inch steels are the smallest you can use. Click below for current options and pricing.
