When I attended the DirtFish rally school, I noticed that the wheels on the school's Subaru WRXs were from Method Racing. We carried Method at that time, but did not have those wheels available. Now, less than a year later, here they are.
The Rally Series wheels were developed by Method in partnership with Subaru's rally team, combining wheel industry capability with rally racing expertise. In the brutal and variable surface conditions of rally racing, strength of the wheel is paramount. Method does shave weight where possible without compromising durability. With wins in the 2013 and 2014 Rally America Championship, Method has established their pedigree as a premier player in the rally game. Showcasing their durability, Torque News reported that racer David Higgins drove 14 miles to complete a stage of the 2014 Oregon Trail rally after his tire shredded, including multiple jumps and speeds over 100mph.
Method offers the MR501 and MR502 styles. As race wheels, they're designed to run without center caps, and no center cap is available. Fitments are aimed primarily at Subarus, and are designed to clear common brake upgrades. To see if there are Method Rally series wheels available to fit your car, shop by vehicle.
