The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 is a tire designed for two things: going fast and looking good. The tire has a very distinctive tread pattern that draws attention and positive comments from enthusiasts.
The directional, flame-like grooves are not just for gaining attention, but are very effective at evacuating water. The wide circumferential and lateral grooves form a directional tread design that improves wet traction and reduces the risk of hydroplaning. I personally used these tires on my old 325i, and while they were not quite as sticky as the Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs, they had excellent performance and earned me more compliments than any other tire I have owned.
Take a look at what some of our customers have said about their experience with the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2:
"This tire looks aggressive and performs great!" -- Tire Rack Consumer, 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa
"These tires make my car drive like a Formula 1 race car. If you want driver tires that grip wet or dry roads, these tires are for you." -- Tire Rack Consumer, 2002 BMW M3 Convertible
"Wet traction is incredible. Dry traction and cornering are amazing." -- Tire Rack Consumer, 2004 Chrysler Crossfire Coupe
The g-Force T/A KDW-2 is aimed at performance enthusiasts exclusively, and makes little attempt to tame tread noise. Drivers hoping to glide silently down the highway are advised to look at other options.
