"What if I need to return after I order tires online?"

Friday, February 5, 2010 by Tire Rack Team
We get this question a lot when our customers choose to order tires online. And while we stand behind our products and the methods we use to ship them, we realize that the system (despite our best efforts) isn't always foolproof.

If your shipment arrives damaged, or if it's simply incorrect, please contact our customer service team at 800-461-5527, ext 360. We'll discuss the damage with the shipper, and we'll take care of the replacement or exchange. All damaged products must be repackaged and returned to us, which we'll arrange with a Return Authorization Number.

We recognize the importance of your purchase, and we do everything we possibly can to assure great success with the order. And you can rest assured that we're here for you, should anything go wrong. (And you can also rest assured that it doesn't go wrong hardly ever.)

I need to return 1 damaged tire. Can you advise me as to how to package and return the tire to you in the most cost-effective way? USPS?

I bought a set of General tires in April and put them on my van 3 weeks ago. Less than 5000 km, two out of four developed bulge on their sides. Ship them back to you from Japan will be very expensive. What can you do?

Unused product that has not been driven on is eligible for a return and can be taken to our Georgia distribution center. If the tires have been used, please contact our customer service department at (800) 461-5527 ext. 4360.

I had mistakenly ordered the wrong size tires. Called for return authorization. Very easy and simple process.
