Testing Eco-Focused Crossover/SUV All-Season Tires in Real World Conditions.

As the winter months continue to come closer here at Tire Rack, we thought it'd be a great time to share with you our latest test results: "Testing Eco-Focused Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season Tires in Real World Conditions" focusing on excellent all-season coverage—that also happens to be eco-friendly.

And as it turns out, we found three really great options. The Kumho Solus KL21, Michelin Latitude Tour HP and the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season. All of which are relatively close in comparison.

Edging out the competition by the smallest of margins is the Michelin Latitude Tour HP. We felt it was very responsive with stable handling, though it lacked somewhat in ride comfort—but that small negative didn't stop us from concluding that this tire truly engages the driver throughout every rotation.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the Kumho Solus KL21 tied our top pick from Michelin. We got about 18.3 miles per gallon for both. But don't feel too badly for Pirelli. Their Scorpion Verde All-Season clocked about 18.2 miles per gallon.

We told you this was a close competition!

Read our full report for all the details, then shop by vehicle to see if either of these three tires fit your CUV or SUV.
