Goodyear Winter Tires: Consumer Reviews

Before you purchase a new set of tires, you'll want to read a few Tire Rack consumer reviews for real world input on performance and handling. For example, here's what a few consumers are saying about their Goodyear winter tires:

Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW3 (Passenger Performance Winter / Snow): "These tires are awesome, and I'm not the type of guy that says that easily. I demand a lot from my tires and the GW3 [tires] deliver on it. I would put them as 80% as good for dry/wet traction, cornering and handling as my summer Ultra High Performance tires, which I think is amazing given that they are snow tires. The best thing though: they are the quietest tires I've ever owned. I really don't know how they do it." — Tire Rack Consumer Review, Mazda RX-8, ON

Goodyear Ultra Grip SUV (Light Truck/SUV Studless Ice & Snow): "I drove 65 mph through pouring rain and my limit was visibility, not traction. Others were floating and sliding, but I was glued to the road. In snow and ice, I have awesome traction where others have nothing. I have control and it takes a lot to get these tires to slip. Safety is everything to me and these have it." Tire Rack Consumer Review, Dodge Ram 1500, IL
