BFGoodrich tires return to Formula Drift racing.

Friday, April 9, 2010 by Tire Rack Team
Formula Drift is often called the premier series for drifting events in the United States, and for seven years, BF Goodrich tires have supported the drivers that have chosen to participate. 2010 continues that tradition as two impressive Formula "D" racing teams commit to using BFGoodrich T/A KDW tires on their vehicles.

Samuel Hubinette Racing has driven BF Goodrich tires to the podium every year since 2006, and Samuel Hubinette himself will drive a Challenger in 2010 with high hopes of overtaking his 2009 4th place finish. Samuel's competitors over at Team Drift Emporium sport an experienced roster that includes 2008 "Rookie of the Year" Michihiro Takatori.

Both teams recognize the BFGoodrich T/A KDW as an excellent Ultra High Performance Summer tire. In fact, it just might be the UHP tire with the highest level of wet and dry balance due in large part to a double compound silica reinforced tread and unidirectional tread design. But lucky for you, it isn't just for the racetrack. This tire features over 80 sizes that fit 15 to 24 inch wheels on sports cars, coupes and sedans.
