Initial Review, 9500 Miles on Tires 2nd snow storm and first major snowstorm. Wow!!! What a difference from my old OEM Bridgestones! Drove with confidence in the late December DC snowstorm over messily plowed roads and through light snow. Did not drive in heavy snow. This would be a bad idea in any rear wheel drive car without chains. Minimal slip and slide. Good recovery. Reasonable braking distances. The summer Bridgestones will scare you to death in the lightest snow. You couldn't make it up a 5% incline. Pilot A/S Plus not as good on dry pavement as the OEM tires but for the year round conditions I drive in these tires are awesome. Sure, they don't have the same grip and stiffer sidewall the OEM tires have. This means a little more body roll in sharp curves. They look great and perform even better. Pay the extra money. They're worth every penny.... especially if they last nearly as long as they're supposed to. Next review in 5k to 10K miles. Read All Reviews for This Tire | Write a Review for This Tire | ||||
