Initial Review, 2000 Miles on Tires

I have Nissan Altima 2.5 S with the 4 cylinder engine. Reason for buying the Hankook's Optimo H727 was the Consumer Reports very positive review, plus the fact that good tires for front wheel drive vehicles are hard to find. The stock Continental's wore out at 20K miles. Replaced with an off brand recommended by Discount Tire. Can't remember the name of the tire, but Bad mistake, had "radial Pull". Despite checking alignment for car, and etc, tire pulled car to right. Had to buy Continental's again to solve the issue. Well, 20K and they were shot again.

This time, read many reviews on Tire Rack.com, and Consumer Reports article. Hankook Optimo H727 highly recommended. Ordered and install the H727's. Found tire to be absolutely steady at any speed. Tire is quiet, very little road noise. Drove at hightway speeds 70+ mph and found excellent and stable. Wet weather handling also very good. Snow is OK, but this is not a snow tire.

Absolutely no "radial pull" (car pulling to right with other brands), and tire is rated at 100K miles. If I get 60K I'd be happy. Tire handling is amazing for 100K miles rated tire. Still getting the tires broken in, mileage is same as before. I have to say I am pleased with the tire. Handling is quick and stable, I don't drive in snow much but, it seems OK for light snow.

I will also, only buy tires if they are in the Consumer Reports TOP 10, and only if other drivers post POSITIVE reviews on sites like Tire Rack about the tire. All tires are NOT created equally, and all tires may NOT be right for your vehicle, especially front drive vehicles.

I'd recommend the purchase of the Hankook OPTIMO H727's to anyone.
